MJ is no more, but has he left few of his replicas behind??!! :)

There are times in life when you think, there is absolutely no one in this world who can question you, how good or bad you are. The one above is one such occasion in Kodaikanal, where we were merrily going around the lake on a bicycle apiece when we suddenly saw an exuberant group on the road, surrounded by music played at an astounding decibel level. Not for a moment we hesitated to get introduced to them and in spite of everyone of ours' obvious limitations as dancers, we simply couldn't restrict ourselves from joining them and showcasing what best (or worst) we could do in the name of dance. The purists say that dance should be aligned to the tunes of the music, but we are neither purists nor concerned - its left to the music to get aligned with our steps, if so needed.

The one that follows is marginally better, as at least we had the option of choosing our own song, unlike the previous situation, which enforced one on us.

This was on way to a beautiful but little known place in Kerala, named Nenmara - less than 100 Kms from Coimbatore. Many times when you go by your own transport, the natural tendency (at least for us) will be to take numerous unscheduled breaks. During one of those stoppages, in the midst of actions influenced by sheer insanity, at times "Miracles too happen" - Yes, I'm referring to the three in the picture performing a step almost identical to each other - That's the most synchronous dance position I have ever seen them indulge in. Moments like these - when you continue to exploit the middle of the road made for public - make you feel that you own the universe and the others living in it are mere spectators and destined to watch the (crazy) show that you are both the host and participant of.

So that is what fun is all about - Rejoice the moment with people as mad as you are, as if there is no today, leave alone tomorrow - The body is there to be exhausted, sweat is there to ooze out, march ahead and get tired. Dance, quite similar to sports, makes you express yourself to the fullest.
